Who would you like to see leading Santa’s sleigh? Prizes for best dressed!
Join us once again for another evening of brain-busting quiz questions whilst we also take the opportunity to celebrate the end of 2015. This year we are hosting on the 11th of November at the Noel Lothian Hall, from 6:30pm.
Tickets are available to members, non-members and with an option to purchase 2016 membership alongside a membership-rate ticket.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Noel Lothian Hall, at the back of the State Herbarium at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, with all access coming from Hackney Road.
These are available to purchase on the Flinders ArchSoc Blog under ‘events’ and are open to both members and non-members. Please remember to bring proof of purchase along on the night to grant you entry. We need to know we are letting in the right people! http://www.flindersarchsoc.org/events/2015-quizmas-night-tickets/
Tables will be set up to accommodate a maximum of eight people, in order to keep things fair for smaller groups. People who do not have a group will be assigned to a table on the night.
Food & Drink
Food and drink (including alcohol) is BYO, with water, tea and coffee to be provided.
We will be giving out prizes for first, second and third place winners, as well as best dressed (wear something which flashes, blinks or glows to enter!) and bonus rounds.
We will be holding a silent auction for a number of archaeology-specific prizes.
There will be a penalty of a gold coin donation for disputing answers. ArchSoc will be donating this money to charity so feel free to tell us we’re wrong!
We have access to security from 7pm to help with people returning to their cars. They will also be enforcing that people remain close to the Hall and do not go in to the Gardens.
Phones and anything else which might put you and your team at an unfair advantage must be surrendered to the centre of your table. If you must use your device you will have to sit out for the remainder of that round until your team’s question sheet has been handed up. Nothing involving fire, including sparklers are to be used whilst inside the Gardens.
