FAQ:
Why do I need to fill out a form to purchase my ticket?
-The required forms acts as a way of collecting emergency contact information for the event, t-shirt sizing, whether or not you are purchasing more than on ticket at a time, and how to contact you before the event.
When will I receive my t-shirt for the event?
-We will be arranging times for pickup during O’Week to pick up t-shirts for the event. T-shirts will be available at the beginning of the event if necessary.
Do I have to wear the t-shirt during the event?
-Yes. The shirt will act as your ticket for the event and will inform the committee members running the event as well as venues that you are a part of the event.
Will transportation be provided?
-No. You are responsible for transportation to and from the event. We recommend utilizing train and bus schedules as we will be nearby the Adelaide Station. Ubers and other ride-share services are also recommended, or arranging a family member or friend to drive you. We strongly encourage finding a safe ride to and from the event.
-Please do not drink and drive.
-We will have a committee member or two gather at the Flinders Station around 6:20pm on the day of the event to collect anyone who will be departing from the university before heading to the first location.
What if I am late or need to leave early?
-It is best to arrive on time for the beginning of the event to fully enjoy everything, however if you are late, there is a schedule on the back of the t-shirts which will indicate where we are located at what times. If you must join late, please join us at the correct venue time slot and find a committee member with a lanyard to check-in with us that you are now joining. Again, avoiding this is the best option.
-If you must leave early, please let a committee member with a lanyard know and confirm you have a safe ride home.
-Important note: Venues are aware of how long we will be at their location. If you choose to stay longer or go to a venue outside the scheduled time, there is no guarantee you will be able to skip the line or receive any potential discounts originally offered during the correct time slot.
Can I invite my friends or family to join? Do they have to be members?
-Of course! The more the merrier, and participants are not required to be ArcHSoc members. However, every participant must have a valid ticket and t-shirt. Anyone without a ticket will be unable to join in.
Is there an age requirement for attendance?
-Yes. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Will there be food break?
-Yes, there is a scheduled food break around 9pm. We highly recommend grabbing something to eat during this time.
Can I purchase tickets the day of the event?
-No, we are currently sold out.
